1. My Hero Academia

My Hero Academia follows Izuku Midoriya on his journey to be the number 1 hero as he aims to help as many people as possible. This anime has a massive cast full of lovable and relatable characters and a story full of moments that will have you cheering, crying, laughing, and more.

Interested in sports? Haikyu!! is perfect for you! Even if you’re not a sports fan, this anime might change your mind. This anime has incredible attention to detail showing how volleyball is actually played and lovable characters that dedicate all of themselves into becoming better at what they love so much. Watch these underdogs arise against different challenges.

3. Psycho-Pass

Itching for a show that takes the crime show elements of NCIS and the cyberpunk elements of Blade Runner and morphs the two together? Well, Psycho-Pass is the show you're looking for! Sit back and enjoy the jam-packed action and suspense of a task force solving crimes in a dystopian 22nd-century Japan.

If you're looking for something a little more emotional and artistic, Violet Evergarden is an absolute masterpiece that not only provides amazing visuals for your eyes to feast on but also an engaging story following a girl who tries to adapt and settle into society after a brutal war.

5. Your Name

Your Name is the critically acclaimed film by Makoto Shinkai that broke box office records for how well an anime can do in theatres. This film combines stunning art and animation with an engrossing plot revolving around two high-schoolers; a country girl and a city boy swapping bodies frequently and the massive impacts this has on their lives. This film has romance, drama, mystery, school, and supernatural elements.
