Role of the ActivateUTS Board

  • Non-political organisation
  • Approve the ActivateUTS corporate plan & budget
  • Establish policy
  • Opportunity to be a director of the UTS Haberfield Club - a NSW licensed club

Obligation of the Board Directors

  • Comply with the provisions of the Corporations Act and uphold the ActivateUTS Constitution
  • Attend monthly board meetings including UTS Haberfield Club
  • Sit on one or more of the board’s advisory committees
    • The Risk and Audit Committee
    • The Finance Committee
    • The Physical Resources Committee
    • The Programs Committee
    • The Sports Management Committee
    • The Marketing Committee

Board Induction

  • Your appointment is confirmed by the Registrar of UTS
  • Attend a Board Induction Session
  • Participate in a Governance Course, provided by the Australian Institute of Company Directors
