About the role

Working closely with the Events and Engagement Manager, this position is responsible for the development and implementation of the recreational program as well as the management of the ActivateUTS Volunteer Program.  This includes the development of bi-annual recreation publications and the organisation of ActivateSocial events.  Working closely with key stakeholders and suppliers, this position coordinates and supports the planning, scheduling and execution of events and activities for students ensuring safety and security of students at all times.

About you

The successful candidate will have previous experience coordinating events, strong administration skills, great communications skills and good problem solving skills; ability to work well in a team and the ability to show initiative and meet deadlines whilst working with minimal supervision. Some knowledge or experience in AV equipment and set up would be advantageous.
