EcoWeek - DIY Terrariums

DIY Terrarium Workshop

When:
Thursday 8 October, 1:00 – 2:00pm
Where:
The Underground UTS
Level 3, UTS Tower Building

Sorry, there are no more spots available for this event.

Give it a grow! Come and learn just how easy it is to create your own mini terrarium from household objects and some soil. You’ll just need to bring your own glass vessel – that old pickle jar that’s been lying around will do perfectly.

As part of our EcoWeek program, we are very excited to announce that EcoSoc will be hosting a DIY terrarium workshop.

Terrariums make for a very cute addition to any room in your house and are easy to maintain if you give them a lil bit of love. As well as adding zen to your space, your terrarium will purify and humidify your air. Walk away with your very own growers kit and care-manual, thanks to the UTS Eco Society.

EcoSoc are experts on the topics of plants and will teach all the neat tricks to create a terrarium, so you can go home and make one from scratch yourself. You will also get to take home a grower’s kit including some seedlings, a gardening glove, and a care manual for your new and future terrarium plants.

Simply bring an old jar or glass vessel and we’ll provide the rest of the materials. This workshop kicks off at 1pm in The Underground so bring your friends and sign up as spaces are limited!
